Ian Stanley (from Reading Family Church and part of The Turning Team) will be leading a group down by the River Thames on the side of the Festival site to do some 1-2-1 witnessing (and exercising their prophecy and healing gifts if appropriate) – all are welcome including first timers.

In addition, Jamie Cater from Carey Baptist Church will be taking a team out to the Riverside to witness as well.

Directions to the Riverside

Go to Richfield Avenue and take the path (Thames Side Promenade) to the carpark left of the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

From the end of the Promenade keeping walking straight till you reach the Thames Path alongside the river. Turn left and continue past the rowing club.

We will be setting up at a convienient place along this next stretch of the river.

Thursday lunch:

We will be meeting for lunch at New Hope Church (95 York Rd, RG1 8DU) at 1–2pm where we will be able to share stories of what God has been doing. If you are planning to join us in the afternoon please arrive here by 1:45pm – thanks.

Friday — Sunday lunch:

for the rest if the weekend we are linching at 203 Caversham road at Carey’s drinks stall.


Parking is available at:

Q-Park in Chatham Place.

There ought to be some parking in Tesco’s car park (RG1 7LA) though this may be time limited.

During Thursday and Friday lunchtimes there is parking at The Gate, 553 Oxford road, RG30 1HJ
